We recently had the pleasure of hosting Pru and Michael for a special lunch at The Shard, celebrating over a decade of collaboration with Heron IT. This special occasion was more than just a meal—it was an opportunity for us to express our gratitude for our partnership since July 2010.

Fourteen Years of Growth and Expansion

When we first began working with Millwall Football Club, our primary focus was on supporting the Ticket Office and Retail operations. However, over the years, our role has expanded significantly. Today, we are proud to support all aspects of the club’s IT needs, including:

·         Press Office

·         First Team Training Facilities

·         Academy

·         Groundsman

·         Back Office Requirements

Our commitment to providing comprehensive IT support has enabled Millwall to operate smoothly across all departments, ensuring that their technology infrastructure is robust and reliable.

Strategic IT Planning for the Future

At Heron IT, we understand the importance of strategic planning to prepare for any eventuality. Whether it’s day-to-day operations or future challenges and opportunities. For instance, should the club achieve promotion to the Premier League, we are ready with the specialist IT knowledge and experience necessary for a successful technology transition.

Reflection and a look forward

As we enjoyed our lunch high above London at The Shard, we reflected on the growth of our partnership. From our initial support to the extensive services we provide today, the journey with Millwall FC has been rewarding and fun on and off the pitch.
